TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH
Where it's not about us, but all about Him.

Do you know God?

Are you lonely? Do you ever feel like you are the only one that goes through isolation and pain? Well there is another, someone else that has already gone through the same types of pain and isolation that you are feeling right now. Romans 3:23 states, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Yes, that's right, Christ Himself has gone through what you are feeling right now but we are separated from Him. Romans 6:23 continues, "For the wages of that is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." So you see if we just accept that free gift of Jesus Christ we can escape the doom and despair and isolation, and begin a relationship with Christ Jesus today. So what will bridge that gap of death and despair? Look at Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." So you see if is Christ Himself that died for each and every one of us, so that we might be able to know Christ personally. Even though we might feel alone and isolated we must remember that Christ is with us all the time. We must simply ask. So right now you might be asking yourself how do we get this free gift? Well, the answer is very simple, Romans 10:9-10, "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." You see it is just that simple, with the heart believe and with the mouth confess that Jesus is Lord. For you see Jesus took our sins upon Himself so that we might be saved. Then in Romans 10:13, "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." So right now if you are one of those who are feeling a bit lonely and in despair or maybe you might just need a friend then we encourage you to simply pray the simple prayer on the right.

Salvation Prayer

Lord, I know that I have sinned, I know that on my own I can not do it. I simply ask that you forgive me of my sins, for I know that although you died on a cross, you did rise three days later to defeat Satan and death. And now I am asking you to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Into Your hands I give my life.

AMEN
